INTRODUCING NIKKI WELCH!
Nikki is coming to us from Mexico……Missouri. I had no idea that a town called Mexico in Missouri even existed. So, I learn something every week from this show.
Nikki is a recipient of a $1,000 SAE grant, and she is using it to test food plots for deer. She is looking at what types of food the deer like better and what ways of feeding them they prefer. I found it very interesting to find out that the deer prefer the timed feeders. Nikki believes that since the deer can hear when the feed is being spread out, they like that best.
Nikki is a hunter and like so many hunters has a deep respect for the animals that she pursues. This is leading her in the direction of making improvements for both hunters and deer alike.
